Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. How many students were in your high school graduating class? Did you know most, if not all of them?
I believe it was about 125 give or take a few.  Yes everyone pretty much knew everyone else.  Which was good and not so good.

2. What was the last thing you photographed?
HA! Okaaayy but you're going to be sorry you asked  . . .

Yep.  That would be a dead mouse.  See. Aren't you sorry?  At least it looks like it's just sleeping.   We always have this trap under the sink set just in case we get a random visitor.  About once every 4 months or so we catch one.  This one struck me as funny because it appeared as if he was trying to get away with the wine cork top thingy which obviously missed the garbage can.  Ha.  Lucky for me, X was home so I didn't have to wait for the Hubby to come home to remove it.  Ick.

3. Pickles-love 'em or loathe 'em? If its love what's something you eat that needs a pickle?
Love 'em!  Dill pickles that is.  I love a dill pickle spear along side a cheeseburger for sure.  I do not care for beer, but if it has a dill pickle spear in it, I can drink it.  Not sure why.  Probably the saltiness of the pickle dispels some of the bitter beer taste.  Try it.  You'll like it.

4. What's a stereotype you seem to perpetuate without meaning to?
That whole women and directionally challenged thing.  Ugh.  I mean, isn't North usually up and up means turn left.  Right?  : )

5. Ever been horse back riding? If so is it something you enjoy? If not, do you have any interest? Did you watch the Kentucky Derby? Will you be watching the last leg of the Triple Crown this weekend?
No.  Don't care to.  They're just so big and intimidating.  I did watch the Derby but mostly for the hat parade.  I didn't know the it was on this weekend but no, we are traveling up to Seattle for Miss Holly's graduation from Seattle U.  Yay!

6. What's your favorite 'wedding' movie?
Ooohh, so many to choose from.  I love The Wedding Dress.  Father of the Bride is a favorite too.  As is Four Weddings and a Funeral.  Ugh, too many to pick just one.

7. What is one 'tourist attraction' in the USA that you'd like to see in person?
Well . . . on the Hubby's first Sabbatical we did our East Coast trip and I ignorantly innocently thought that we were relatively close to Mt. Rushmore and suggested we go there too.  Uh.  Yeah.  The Hubby was not a fan of that plan of driving an extra bazillion miles out of our way just to see the presidents on a rock.  So I'm going to say Mt. Rushmore.  Also, believe it or not I have not been to the Grand Canyon.  Yikes!  I guess that's two.  Oh well.

8. Insert your own random thought here.
It's only Wednesday and I've made dinner twice already and actually baked banana bread.  Look at me all domestic.

I'm not sayin' I enjoyed it, I'm just sayin' I did it.

I'm just sayin'

Dill pickles are good in a Bloody Mary too. I haven't seen any mice in our house but its probably because the higher ups on the food chain that roam our yard take care of them before they can make it indoors.

I've been switching out my clothes today-ugh. I hate that job. Plus its been in the 50's so I'm not really in my summer stuff regularly yet.

Never tried a pickle in beer-hum..might have to and will let you know. We had a mole in our house last Friday-#2 daughter and I about killed each other trying to get out of the way.

I love beer and I love baby dills but I need to try them together.
I love the Father of the Bride movies too!
The Grand Canyon is on our bucket list but the west coast is for me (hubby was born in Cali) and Colorado too.
I cooked once this week. You beat me.
We keep bar bait in the garage for the mousies to eat, and die.

Yum! Banana Bread. I was planning on making this tomorrow. Pickles in Beer? Never heard of that. I don't care for the taste of beer, so I will stick with just a pickle. ;-)
