1.July 15th is National Give Something Away Day. What can you give away? Will you?
Where does this stuff come from anyway? Hmm . . . I have much to give away. Especially if I go clean and purge
2. Do you have a mantra? Please share with the class if you feel comfortable doing so.
You mean, like Ellen's "Be kind to everyone?" kind of mantra? Um, no.
Not that I know of. Hey, that's what I need. A mantra. I'll think on it.
3. Who does the grocery shopping in your house? How many times a week do you shop? Do you make a list or pray for inspiration in the produce aisle?
For the most part, I do the grocery shopping. It's not something I enjoy, so once in a while the Hubby will make a point to go with me or for me, if there's something specific to be had. If it's just the Hubby and myself here (as per usual) I can go a whole week to a week and a half before I absolutely have to make a trip. In the summer months with one or more kiddos home, then it's more like twice a week. We tend to actually eat dinner during the summer because we eat later and that works for the Hubby's
I think the reason I don't like to go to the grocery store is that I don't usually have a plan as to what I'm going for. If I do in fact have a plan and it's for something specific like a dinner party then I have a very detailed list. Do I stick to the list? Nah. But I do get everything on it. Usually. Ha.
4. Is there a TV show you're embarrassed to say you watch? You're going to tell us what it is, right?
Bachelorette/Bachelor. I mean, at least it used to be an entertaining train wreck. Now it's just a train wreck. But of course I cannot look away. Ha. Once Monday night football starts back up I'll have a better option.
Some other
5. A recent article listed fifteen words we should eliminate from our (written) vocabulary in order to sound smarter-
that, went, honestly, absolutely, very, really, amazing, always, never, literally, just, maybe, stuff, things, and irregardless
Of the fifteen, which word is your most overused?
Hmm. Probably JUST. It's just that it's so easy to just say it before most words. It just becomes a habit to just add it whenever it justly fits. Just sayin'
6. So apparently dying your hair gray (in your youth!) is a thing right now. It's called 'The Granny Hair' trend. Your thoughts?
That's just D U M I mean,
7. A while back Buzz Feed asked members to share the most beautiful sentence they've read in a piece of literature. A hard thing to narrow down, at least for me, but let's try. What's one of the most beautiful sentences you've ever read in a piece of literature?
I've got no answer for this one.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
I got new tires on my car the other day and since it was going to take longer than expected (as in, they didn't have the correct tires to replace mine because I misspoke as to what I had on my car in the first place - #notmyjob) I was given this little loaner to drive . . .
Hey! I was surprised and impressed. It's not cute and I wouldn't buy one but it was very comfortable to drive.

what kind of car is that? A cube?
Dropping by from HodgePodge Wednesday.
Naked and Afraid-ha! I have seen that one, but am not a regular viewer. All the bugs and itchy ickiness along with the regular ickiness of two strangers naked in the jungle gives me the creeps.
I'll watch Hoarders and My 600 lb. life too. Something about those shows just has me watching to see the outcome.
